This was a perfectly conventional thing for one novitiate to say to another, by way of praise or encouragement. It was typical of Chirrut that he should have made it weird.   Chirrut pursues Baze. Kids at the Temple fic, spanning a period of 20 years.</blockquote>

First half of the fic is about Finn and his place in this process, and his sort of mentor/mentee relationship with Leia. Second half is when Poe, years into the process, comes back into Finn's life. I liked the first half better, but all of the fic was good

And the eventual get-together is charmingly un-embarrassment-squicky

But also just a good fic! ➤ I did feel though that the fic went on too long beyond a natural end point into nothing but fluff that wasn't going anywhere new.

And okay I enjoyed chapter 1, but then chapter 2 with the scientists was AMAZING, I'm so pleased, this fic is ridiculous in the best ways
